Blackjack tournaments are ever growing in popularity (probably off the back of the succes of poker) and are an area of gambling where, arguably, you get the most "Bang for your Buck".
Play the Tournaments at Club World
Players compete against each other instead of against the casino, so a sillful blackjack player has an edge over youe average joe.
Normally you get several rounds of play in a blackjack tourney, with 6 or so players competing against each other at an individual table, be that offline, or at a virtual table in the case of online blackjack tournaments.
There is generally a cut- that is to say 1 or 2 card players from each table go through and play at the next level. So yo have an inverse pyramid knock out competition, with fewer and fewer players and tables as the tournament progresses.
The winners at each stage are picked on the size of their pot. Each round lasts between 20 and 30 hands.
Like online poker, there is a dealer button that moves around the table, meaning that the "first base", ie the player who gets the first card changes. You´ll often have to play a few smaller tournaments, or qualifying rounds, to get into the major tournaments.
The prize pool for ablackjack tournament is always guaranteed and generally runs to the first 6 or 7 places. The super events have prize pools in excess of a million dollars.

Shoot out tournaments need a quick mind. You play alongside with 2-5 players and any player can join the game. When the 2nd player joins the table, a 20s count down strats and the players get a buy in request in a popup window. Anyone who wants to join the game may do so during the 20-second interval.
Heads Up Tournaments
For two players only. As soon as the second player joins the table, the players receive a buy-in request. you play each other.
Sit & Go Single-table Tournament
Played with 3 to 5 players. You join the game and the Sit and Go begins will begin as soon as the specified number of players "sit down".
Multi-table Blackjack Tournaments
Sit & Go Multi-Table
There´s a pre-set number of players. You are seated randomly and the Sit & Go starts when the last player sits down. You play a predetermined number of hands per level. After each level the person with the most blackjack chips goes up to the next level. You don´t carry blackjack tournamanet chips from one level to the next. The person with the biggest pile of chips at the end of the last hand of the "Last Table" wins the entire tournament and scoops the prize.
Scheduled Tournaments
Like Multi-table Sit & Go tournaments only there are no limits on the number of players. You are seated randonly at tables and the blackjack tournament begins at a time that is advertisied in the site.
You must sign up as a player before the start of the tournament. These tournaments usually occur daily.
Special Scheduled Tournaments
Exclusive big money tournaments with big money payouts, often over $1,000,000 jackpot)
You must sign up in advance and it is likely that there will be some feeder tournaments or qualifying blackjack tournaments if the prize is a big one.
